“How am I going to waste?”

<How am I going to waste?> Mara wrote. She wanted to know more about what Mikey was thinking. She had to wait a couple of minutes for his response to come through as the typing disappeared and reappeared a few times. Was Mikey deleting and rewriting his message perhaps? Whatever it was, Mara was getting intrigued.

<Just that you’re unhappy with him. He pisses you off. Doesn’t treat you right. Leaves you unsatisfied…>

Mara’s pulse had begun to pick up. Mikey had called her gorgeous before and now spoke about her being unsatisfied. While it was true, she had a very high sex drive and would love to get it three times a day if she could, Hugh’s was much lower. Once or twice a week was his preference. It had never really been a problem though, not until Mara got angry with Hugh and then regretted not being fucked often enough.

Again the writing icon stopped and started a couple of times.

Mara frowned. She thought Mikey was going to be a bit flirtier than that. Maybe she’d misread the situation and the exchange. So that she was happy when another message from Mikey popped up quickly without any hesitation.

Mara’s breath caught. That was much more like it. She stamped her feet against the carpeted floor in her living room in excitement. Pausing to take another healthy sip of her wine before composing her come back.

<Could you handle me in bed?> It was bold and direct. Much like the bottle of Shiraz Mara had almost drunk now.

<You’re Hugh’s girlfriend. I shouldn’t be saying this at all.>

Aww Mikey. Don’t get all shy now.

There it was! The offer to meet in person. It was risky and dangerous Mara thought until she started to reason with herself. They could just meet up for a coffee and she could tell Mikey all the things that were up with Hugh and her. It would be a friendly and polite talk with her ex’s best friend. That’s all. What harm could it do?
