“Donna called me cute.”

“Donna called me cute...” You say while looking at the ground a bit flushed. You bite your lips as you wait for your sister's reaction. You hear her trying to hold in her laughter. But then she couldn’t handle it anymore and just starts laughing. “Bahaha. Holy shit, I didn’t know Donna had it in her.” She says nudging your arm. She then let out a devious smile. “You wore the goth outfit for her didn’t you.” She gives you a wink.

Face red and embarrassed you honestly don’t know what to say. Maybe you did, maybe you didn’t. But it still didn’t change the fact that she called you cute. You open your mouth to say something. But then suddenly your sister hugged you.

You were shocked at first but then you wrap your arms around her and hug her back. Taken aback a bit, “What are you doing?” You say a bit confused. She lets go and her face becomes red. “Ash… You don’t know how much it means to me. For once you are opening up to me.” She speaks a bit shyly. “I know I can be a bit of a tease, but I really do care about you.” She then smiles and then kisses your cheek.

“I love you I'll see you later at home.” She then quickly heads towards the cafeteria.

You stood there confused still wondering why she just hugged you. Then it hit you like a truck, your sister just kissed you on your cheek. She also told you that she loves you. Your face becomes red. You immediately become flustered; obviously, she just meant it as a sister… Right? You don’t want to go into that territory, so you quickly walk to your lunch table.
