In a ordinary room, with an ordinary man. The ordinary man glanced around, briefly confused, then his brow furrowed and he sighed.

"Damn. Another zero of you," he said with irritation. "It's just sloppy work! The devs fuck up one index and now I have to-

He was touching a strange object. It was draped across the couch, but he stood it up. It stood on two legs, with arms dangling down on the either side of the trunk. He reached into the pocket and found a <NOT>. He took the <NOT> to the shelf, where there was a strange device. Had that always been there? He put the <NOT> <NOWHERE> the device and pressed a button. There was a light and a hum and he took it back out. He examined the driver's license carefully.

"Whose driver's license is that? What did you just do?"

"First question, you wouldn't believe me if I told you," he said as he studied the card. "I just reontologized this card. It was-"

"Who the hell are you talking to?"

He rolled his eyes. "Sorry, can't use the second person pronoun becomes sometimes it can make nobody upset. I just reontologized the card. Its being was brought back."

This man was waving around a magically disappearing driver's license and talking to himself. He seemed dangerous. The thought of being his captive was terrifying.

"Unfortunately, it's not that simple with sapient creatures. It can kinda garble a sentience if you don't reontologize it properly. We wouldn't want y- anybody garbled."
