[Vanessa] Relationship composition: April and Ella

Curiosity got the best of her. If she already had made this drastic changes, what was the point in stopping now? She took a deep smoke out of the cigarette to clear her mind and said "Let's continue. I want to know about April and Ella next."

"Very well. Let's start with April then. First we have Flegias, the Demon Lord. Think yourself lucky. Demons often work with contracts, and this opportunity is gifted to you. You get one chance, one contract that is not only legally binding, but also soul binding. April will have to sign it, but you only get the one, so write well."

"The we have the Queen herself, Roweena. I guess it's a good thing that contract is binding, because otherwise your relationship with April would be completely over. She will try to avoid you whenever she can now. In her eyes you really are inferior to her, she is a proper queen after all."

Vanessa waited both cards before thinking about her current and future situation with April. It was true that they barely talked to each other outside of work. She was the youngest and most inexperienced of the workers at the Shamrock pub. It was clear she wanted to learn a lot, but her preppy and proper demeanor clashed a bit with the unsaid rule of the pub of putting the customer first in every way. With this contract she could have easily made her one of the best baristas ever, even better then herself. Sam always told her to try and be as selfless as possible. This was a great way to prove she could put April's needs before her own. Even if she didn't like her now apparently.

Ella was more of a problem. Her bratty punk attitude was a turn on for a lot of customers, but she wasn't subservient enough for the pub. She could only hope the readings would help the girl in any way. "Proteus the wanderer. Probably the stranger of the gods. No matter what you think of Ella as she is, she will be like talking to another person when you will interact with her. You will find her new personality very accommodating. Only when you are around this change will occur though."

"Let's finish up with the last bane: Saint Secundus, patron of purity. No matter the circumstances or the opportunities, Ella is not a sexual creature in any way or form. Nothing she does is done in a sexual light. It's just facts."

Vanessa wondered how this changes will interact with the pub. She hadn't been as lucky with Ella as she had been with April. Eh, anyway... It was finally time to get outside and find something else to smoke. She still couldn't believe this was actually happening. Maybe after a good night of sleep her head would stop hurting and everything would go back to normal. How long had she been in this tiny ass room?
