[The Taverna]

You approach the taverna quietly listening to the sounds of low conversation from inside, interspersed with occasional guffaws of laughter.

You enter the taverna easily and find only a handful of people there, two women wearing headscarves and two men in finery. The tavern keeper appears to be entirely absent but no one seems bothered yet.

However, they are quite bothered by YOU, or rather, by your Padawan Jexalial. Conversation stops dead when she enters and everyone turns to look at her, following her every move with eyes filled with fear.

However, when all the two of you do is walk up to the bar and hit the hanging cowbell for service they soon enough go back to their drinks and food, though the muttering is darker and lower.

The Tavern Keeper appears from the back room about five minutes later and it swiftly becomes clear he is terrified: not only that but that he doesn't speak any language you do...

After several tries, you manage to order a flagon of mead for yourself and your Padawan via pantomime, which you take turns gently sipping.

Shortly before its emptied C3-X5 says "Excuse me Master Jedi but I think I have cracked their language: it appears to be a mixture of several fictional languages from various novels and holo plays throughout republic history. If you wish I can attempt to speak to them now."
