[South, To The Smoking Mountains]

You consider your options for a minute, The lands round about are not filled with many good options for one such as yourself to take up residence in except South and North. There's a city and a few villages within a few days flight of here but both of those have their drawbacks in that you cannot stay in your humanoid guise indefinitely, you must return to dragon form in order to eat enough for health and when you sleep. There also is the sea nearby which has many ships, you could book passage on one of them for far away lands, but such jaunts into the unknown have never appealed to you for their own sake.

Eventually you conclude that it must be north or south and consider your options. South would mean meeting your new lover's kin-drakes, and that is a daunting proposition on its own, but north most likely will mean the same in reverse, and his being welcome among your kin is far less likely. That settles it then, to the south with you both, and a meeting between yourself and a mixed family of gold and copper dragons...

"We will head south," you inform your paramour, even as you gather up your treasures, and make ready to depart.

"Perhaps not the more exciting of the two choices," he replies and you grimace for a moment.

"I find myself longing for a little dullness," you say, and he chuckles.

"Not too dull, I hope," he murmurs and runs his long and sinuous tongue along your neck.
