"Can I ask you to draw for my friend Dex? I kinda feel bad for dragging him here today. This is not just about romantic relationship, right?"

"You are correct, this is for any bond within two individuals. And of course, I can read Dexter's fate for you. Let's start with a boon: Malachay, the king of fairies. Tied by mischief is what you and Dexter are, friends to the end in bringing a bit of chaos to the world."

That was good, at least their friendship would remain steady. Sam wasn't really sure about the chaos and mischief part as he now wanted to be in servitude of people and not antagonizing them. But a bit of harmless fun with his friend would not compromise that. And now apparently acting this way would make Dex happy, and that was rewarding enough.

"Mechanus, god creator and patron of technology, gives you Dex as property to do as you wish. Gone were the days where your friend was a human, now he is but a doll in your possession. Don't worry, he is not going anywhere without you."

This really bummed out Sam, he wanted a decent friend, at least someone to please, not a doll. He didn't know what to do with a living doll version of his best friend. And all the fun things that they did together were just gone? like that?

"I believe we are finished here, unless you want to bring just another person in the mix."

"Wait a minute! I'm not going to finish on this low note. I want a read for another person!"

He thought who could he ever want to give this strange happenings, some of his friends or work buddies. Maybe now that his chances with Vanessa were completely gone he could try his luck with one of her barista friends. There was April, always pristine and proper with her cute smile. He could have his chances with Amanda, the curvy brunette that always bossed the other baristas around. Or he could try something with Ella, the goth chick who made fun of customers and rarely spoke to him.
