"Eddie-this is just a power play by Tack!?" Madeline said firmly. Tack thought he could betray Madeline--but two could play at that game.

"That's bullshit!" Tack roared "Don't listen to this bitch boss."

"You are gonna trust this oversized brahmin?" Madeline posed the question before continuing her counter attack "Think about it Eddie--I'm one of your best lieutenants. With me out of the way--you were gonna be next."

Eddie looked accusingly at Tack whose face grew red with anger.

"You aren't going to listen to this lying whore are you? You're the boss Eddie I ain't making a play." Tack said looking at Eddie as he made his argument.

"Whore!?" Madeline said "That's what he wanted me to be but I rejected his slug looking ass."

"Boss." Tack said his voice not quite as powerful now "Boss...she's lying. I wouldn't ever try anything with her. I ain't trying shit."

Madeline's argument combined with Eddie's natural suspicion among so many lowlifes meant that Eddie was much more inclined to judge in Madeline's favor. But how much reputation she had among the gangers would still play a factor.
