Your ideas of removing the stench glands and adding the claw arms (Giving your new race two sets of arms, though one will not be very useful for fine manipulation.) are met with a small amount of resistance, but your 'Silver Tongue' sways them shortly. The main point that is brought up is that having natural weapons might make your race slower to advance technologically as they have less need for weapons of war...

You power past that. "They will need other technology, clothing, carrying packs and ranged weapons: as we plan to deprive them of their current stench spitting ability. Also, as their gods, we can encourage them to advance more swiftly, and technology is not everything, we need those with great FAITH, not intellect." You explain the others currently having reached the ring of standing stones, which you now notice is surrounded by a smaller ring of lesser stones.

"But how do we remove the Stench Glands?" Lilith asks. "They are an integral part of the Soul Form's matrix now..."

You get the arms slotted into place, above the previous set and naturally angled slightly forward, you feel a vague sense of unease about it for a moment but it passes. You also notice something odd, the shape of the skull of the soul form has changed slightly, instead of a fully humanoid head it now has a bit of a snout and slightly sharper teeth.
