"No," she whispered again, her resolve hardening. She pushed Greg away, her hands shaking as she stepped back, putting distance between them. "I won't do this. Not again. Get out of here, Greg. Now." Olivia's voice wavered, but her determination was firm. She reached for the knife strapped around her waist.
"Fine. Suit yourself, you fucking bitch. But I ain't sharing anything with ungrateful whores like you. You can try to survive on the shit your husband digs up. Your loss." With a dismissive sneer, he turned and walked away, taking his prize with him. She felt a stab of regret and hunger as she watched him leave, the taste of fresh meat lingering in her mind. But she pushed those feelings aside, knowing that she had done the right thing.
