[Dark Arts] Summon a skeletal distraction

One truism that had been proven time and time again throughout the realm's history: nothing is more distracting than a group of skeletons popping up at your door. As such, you set to work, chanting a summoning spell in a low voice while tracing patterns in the air with your fingers, like you'd learned at the underground seminars. A low-lying cloud of black, swirling mist spread across the dirt outside the barracks, moving outward from your feet. Slowly, one bony hand emerged from the darkness... then another... and another! In no time at all, you'd generated a squad of skeletons.

Of course, this number of skeletons would be totally insufficient for facing off against the mass of guards that were packed into that barracks, but they didn't need to know that. The skeletons and the lingering threat of more being summoned would be enough.

You commanded the skeletons to raise hell, in a manner of speaking.

The skeletons began clattering their teeth and rattling against the outside of the barracks with their skeletal fists, making an utter cacophony. The guards, along with anybody in the nearby vicinity, would be drawn quickly to the west side of the barracks to investigate.

With the ruckus now in full-swing, the three of you scampered as quickly as you could for the east entrance, which should soon be unguarded due to the commotion elsewhere.{if Amulette = True}

"Keehehehe! The new squire knows a nifty nugget of necromancy himself? Nicely navigated!" the party's witch cackled, following easily alongside of you.{endif}{if Belit = True}

"Is that all those bags of bones are good for? I always pictured 'em being a little more dangerous," Belit scoffed, moving quickly to the front of the group.{endif}{if Bangaal = True}

"What a silly ruse! If noise is all you needed, you could have just relied on Bangaal! She is truly an attention grabber!" your djinn companion boasted. That she might be, but you had a feeling her chaos magic would make even more of a mess.{endif}{if Helmid = True}

Helmid brushed her orange braid behind her as your group reached the west door. "There was a time where paladins wouldn't suffer creations of the dark arts to live, reanimated as such. We paladins were duty-sworn to banish the undead, after all. Nowadays, we recognize that the so-called 'dark arts' are not only employed by demon-kind and demon-friends, but I must say... It's still rather unnerving."{endif}{if Liens = True}

"Boneheads," Liens remarked idly. It wasn't clear if she was insulting the skeletons or the guards.{endif}{if Rosary = True}

"Oooh, I'm not used to running quite so much! P-Please, slow down! I'll be left behind!" Sister Rosary begged, jiggling all over in a way that was honestly pretty distracting as she struggled to keep pace with your party.{endif}
