[Alternate Storyline] Tell your girlfriend

From here on the story will have one difference. Something that happened in the past, yet ultimately changed the present and therefore the future as well. The difference? Some random woman died at the other side of the country years ago. You may be asking yourself what difference does it make? Well, in the original storyline this woman didn't die, instead she got sick, causing her son and his family to move into her town to support and help her. A noble gesture, which caused you to never even know this family. But with this old lady simply dieing, she didn't just save herself from years of pain, drifting more and more into insanity, no, it also caused her son, his wife and their daughter to move into your street. They moved here when you were quite young, so you have always known this family growing up. She quickly befriended Beth, Tara and you, and while you and Beth rather drifted apart, you and this extraordinary girl started dating. Her name is Mia and you have been together for about 3 years now. She and Beth aren't hanging out really often either, yet she is still quite good friends with Tara.
