[A note from the author]

I apologize for the sporadic update schedule recently. A variety of personal issues have cropped up that require my attention. I have not forgotten this story; in fact, I've commissioned some art, so that you will all get to see Teysa, Aliara, the Matron, and all of the others the way I imagined them. I will continue to write, ideally a chapter a week. I know that's a slow schedule and on days when I have a short update I will try to have a second one for you, but that's what I can manage right now.

Your supportive comments/messages have meant a lot to me, and I hope to resume a more frequent update schedule when things stabilize here. In the meantime, I appreciate the support and likes, and I hope you enjoy the read.
