[A Whole Bunch Of Different Magazines.]

You enter the waiting room, with two couches and a chair surrounding a small coffee table piled with magazines of various kinds.

You sit down an idly look at a few, and start reading the newspaper that was still in its plastic sheath on one end until your foot brushes something under the edge of the couch. You bend down and pick it up.

It turns out to be a very small pamphlet, [The Resistance Quarterly: #56.] There is a picture of a raised fist on the cover and you skim it's contents.

"The Resistance" appears to be some kind of underground religious organization dedicated to fighting the evil ways of the city. This particular pamphlet claims a major victory having kidnapped, "Successfully Severed", and mind scrubbed the avatar of someone called "Our Father Below" and sent him to a new world...

At Andraste's urging, you put the pamphlet back under the couch and pretend to not have noticed it.

You then go back to reading The Sun, dividing up the sections so you each can read something for a while. You get the first crack at the main section and are surprised to discover this on page 3:

You're not sure what's going on with that but you flip the page quickly and read other articles.

After reading the whole paper, (3 Hours) you have a sense of it. It's a sensationalist rag with little useful content and dubious fact checking. You are however intrigued that it paints The Resistance as a bunch of Religious Terrorists, and wonder if they will be such a hot-button issue in the other magazines? There also appears to be a major Sporting Event tomorrow, some kind of gladiatorial combat with Soul Form Components and a Soul Form Base as the prizes...

You start reading a 'Self-Help' magazine called "Hatred and You" but put it down after only one article. This appears to be the exact opposite of "Self Help", trying to turn people into grasping, manipulative, intemperate, slatternly, wastrels who can give only lies and manipulation: and to no good end either. (30 Minutes)

Next, on the reading list comes up with a magazine called:

"Illuminate
(issue #34)"

The whole thing is devoted to a series of articles on how to achieve world domination, and you read them with interest. One of them appears to have been written by that "Our Father Bellow" chap, and talks extensively about how to manipulate and control the actions of others through minor demons known as 'tempters'. You read these articles quite thoroughly, taking mental notes, thus taking another 3 hours to read the magazine.

Last you come to "The Watchtower" a cheap religious magazine printed on glossy paper. It has articles on various religious gambits and styles but they all seem keyed towards evil religions. However, with your superior intellect, you can glean a few bits of advice from each one just by turning what they say to do backward. You read it for an hour and a half before 'Berry' appears and tells you that your clothes are ready...
