[5] Morning

The morning was a bit frosty, and much colder than it was when you and Delilah were last outside at night. There are a few birds still chirping outside nonetheless. Delilah kissed you when she woke up. She bounces off to the bathroom, getting ready for the ride back to the tavern.

Your head is feeling weird. You feel much more...blank than usual. Your emotions feel dry, and you have to force every smile. Delilah got too close to you and you did a terrible job in easing her into your life. Now that you've thrown that away without any kind of concern, you fill empty.

Even when you are riding back, you remain generally silent. Delilah notices your silence, but chooses not to say anything about it. When you return to Tiny's Tavern, you slowly recline into a state of isolation from the others, quickly finding the grooves into contracting once again. Perhaps you shouldn't be so friendly to the locals anymore?

You aren't really sure why your actions made this way, but you decide it's probably for the best just to keep to yourself for now on, keeping to yourself and resetting when the thaw of winter begins.
