How to play:

1. Read the story and vote on any choice marked by [ Open ]

2. Decisions feed into hidden trait scores that affect the story. Not every choice is life or ****, but choices do add up.

3. Every decision also carries a different hidden score, and I will track every participant’s votes and scores. The reader or readers with the high score at the end can either request a short story of their choosing, or they can nominate a premise for another story or game that will go in a future poll. You only get points for votes made while the choice is still live. (Usually about a 24-hour window after a new chapter is posted. I generally post new chapters in the evening, U.S. Eastern Time.

4. The same prize will be available to the first reader to correctly guess the identity of the killer BEFORE the sun sets in the story. Guesses can be made by DM or comment, but I won’t engage with them to avoid giving anything away. When the killer (or multiple killers) have their identity revealed in the story, I’ll let the winner know that they won.
