D’Ambray Family

Summary:

One of New Aurelien’s oldest families, descended from the financiers who developed the early topaz mines. Their wealth has since shifted into real estate and art patronage. The D’Ambrays carry an effortless refinement — their name appears on museums, foundations, and theatre halls across the city. They own a cabin on Eldermere Lake.

Core Business: D’Ambray Enterprises

Subsidiaries:

The D’Ambray Foundation – A philanthropic arm funding art education, historical preservation, and cultural initiatives in New Aurelien. Publicly known for its galas and restoration projects — privately, it helps maintain the family’s influence in civic circles.

D’Ambray Atelier – A bespoke design studio branching into watches and accessories, targeting younger luxury markets.

D’Ambray Estates – Manages the family’s vast property holdings, including vineyards, resorts, and their historic countryside estate outside the city.

D’Ambray Joaillerie – The crown jewel of the family legacy. A century-old luxury jewelry house known for custom heirloom pieces, royal commissions, and gemstone artistry. Every collection draws inspiration from European heritage and modern minimalism.

Members:

Theodor D’Ambray – Elegant, poised, and philanthropic. CEO of D’Ambray Enterprises and maintains long-standing ties with families like the Ashbournes.

Amora D’Ambray (née Escofier) – Veronica Ashbourne’s cousin. High cheekbones, striking dark eyes, and raven-black hair. Born in Montreal.

Liora D’Ambray (18) – Straight blonde hair and striking amber eyes. She has very large breasts and a toned ass. She’s straight, but she’s been getting bi-curious lately. She’s the queen bee at her school. She’s in the cheerleading squad at school and was elected as captain for her senior year. She’s a bit wild, having a rather high sex drive, but she isn't a slut; prefers older, college-age guys. She acts a little bossy sometimes toward her friends and adores her parents. She maintains close friendships with her brother Pierre, Zara, and other peers, and has developed a friendship with Heather Ravers from Sunset Haven through summers spent at the Ravers resort and meetings in galas. She and Pierre have a teasing relationship. Likes to tease boys. She's very intelligent, and wants to follow her father's footsteps into managing the company in the future. Friendly with her second cousin Vivi Ashbourne, she often leads her social circle and takes her responsibilities seriously.

Pierre D’Ambray (18) - Quite handsome, he’s very popular in school and easy to get along with, unless you are a guy, as he unconsciously gets along better with girls. Wields the D’Ambray name as a duty to the town instead of merely as a birthright. Has relatively high success with girls, but doesn’t let that fact go to his head and treats them with the respect they deserve. Goes along quite well with his twin sister, and has a teasing, flirtatious connection with the latter, with a sexual relationship possibly having already started between them over summer trips and breaks. Generally smart, he has a flair for the artistic, having learned Fencing at a young age, but he's also the star point guard of the school's basketball team. Has a great relationship with his parents. Has a FWB situation with Mira Volkova, she was his first, although he ocasionally hooks up with Andrea Caldea, though nobody knows. His good friends at NA are Mira and Diego Espina. Has developed a friendship with Logan Ravers, through being at the same fencing tournaments, galas and beeing at the Ravers resort in Sunset Haven.

Volkov Family

Summary:

The Volkov family’s firm, Volkov Systems, shaped much of modern New Aurelien’s infrastructure — from skyline towers to transit networks. Their legacy is literally built into the landscape, including the iconic Bridgemont–Resin Grove–New Aurelien rail line that helped knit the region together after World War II. Once engineers and architects, the Volkovs have evolved into one of the city’s most respected development dynasties, balancing innovation with legacy. Their name carries weight — equal parts progress and prestige.

Members:

Anton Volkov — Patriarch. An architect-turned-industrialist whose pragmatic vision transformed New Aurelien into a modern powerhouse. Though reserved, his influence is visible in nearly every major civic project across the city. Anton has brown hair now streaked with gray, olive-toned skin, and steady brown eyes that mirror his methodical temperament.

Kristina Volkova (28) — Anton’s eldest daughter. She studied architecture at Bridgemont University, following in her father’s footsteps but with a more artistic, people-oriented approach. Close friends with Irina Sokolova, she often serves as a bridge between the city’s old-guard elite and its emerging creative class. Kristina has sleek chestnut-brown hair, warm olive skin, and deep brown eyes that carry both warmth and quiet determination.

Mira Volkova (18) — The youngest and most visible Volkov. Creative, socially fluent, and effortlessly stylish, she reinterprets her family’s modernist legacy through design, fashion, and digital media. A senior in high school, she plans to study design and digital media at New Aurelien University. Mira has soft chestnut-brown hair, olive-toned skin, and bright brown eyes that sparkle with mischief and curiosity. Best friends with Pierre D’Ambray, with whom she shares a friends-with-benefits dynamic — he was her first kiss, and the one she lost her virginity to.

Caldera Family

Summary:

A dynasty built on speed and mechanical excellence, Caldera Engines designs and manufactures world-class performance engines for both luxury sports cars and aircraft. Based in the industrial quarter of New Aurelien, the company’s name is synonymous with power, innovation, and prestige. From Formula circuits to private jets, Caldera engines define engineering mastery.

Members:

Rafael Caldera – CEO and public face of Caldera Engines. Charismatic, commanding, and media-savvy, Rafael is as much a showman as he is an engineer. With sun-bronzed skin, salt-and-pepper hair slicked neatly back, and sharp hazel eyes, he radiates control and charisma. A regular at racing circuits and regional galas, he sponsors sports events across the region, turning Caldera into more than a company — a statement of ambition and excellence.

Ebba Caldera (née Lindström) – Matriarch. Originally from Sweden, Ebba brought Scandinavian design sensibilities and understated elegance into the Caldera legacy. A former industrial designer, she helped shape the company’s signature visual aesthetic — clean lines, technical beauty, and purposeful luxury — before dedicating herself to philanthropy and the arts. Tall and poised, with luminous pale skin, ice-blonde hair, and striking blue eyes, Ebba is cool composure personified. She hosts refined fundraisers and cultural events overlooking Aurelien Lake, lending the family a cosmopolitan air that blends Nordic restraint with New Aurelien prestige.

Andrea Caldera (20) – Business and marketing major at NAU. Polished, intelligent, and socially poised, Andrea has sleek chestnut-brown hair, olive-toned skin, and blue eyes — a fusion of her parents’ contrasts. With a keen instinct for influence and brand identity, she’s already managing Caldera’s partnerships with major racing teams and luxury houses. Her future in the company’s public image division seems all but certain.

Ronaldo Caldera (19) – Engineering major at BU. A thrill-seeker with a love for motion and risk, Ronaldo channels his family’s legacy through pure adrenaline. Tousled brown hair, sunlit amber eyes, and a lean, athletic build make him magnetic in any crowd. Known for his infamous lake parties at the Caldera cabin on the southern shore of Aurelien Lake, he walks the line between prodigy and chaos. Despite his wild reputation, his mechanical intuition hints at untapped genius — the kind that could one day redefine Caldera innovation.

Espina Family

The Espinas rose from local talent to international fame. Diego Espina, once a producer signed to New Aurelien’s prestigious Golden Rookie Records, went independent and built a career that made him a worldwide name in production circles. Their family remains deeply tied to the city’s cultural identity — a symbol of New Aurelien’s creative pulse, where ambition meets artistry in the glow of studio lights and skyline nights.

Alex Espina – The Patriarch of the family. A respected session guitarist and studio veteran, Alex was part of New Aurelien’s early jazz and fusion scene before turning to production. Warm but quietly exacting, he passed down both technical discipline and a deep love for music to his son. With silver-threaded dark hair, weathered tan skin, and an easy confidence, Alex still performs at select local venues, maintaining the family’s strong presence in the city’s music culture.

Diego Espina (20) – Grammy-winning producer and international sensation, Diego’s rise from neighborhood prodigy to global name mirrors New Aurelien’s own creative evolution. At first, he signed with Golden Rookie Records, but went independent and reached stardom. Known for his signature blend of analog warmth and modern rhythm, he splits his time between Amethyst Shore, his villa in Rosecliff Bay, and his lakeside loft in New Aurelien — where he mentors young artists and occasionally drops surprise collaborations. With sharp brown eyes, soft curls, and an effortlessly cool presence, Diego embodies the sound of his city: bold, emotional, and endlessly forward-looking.

Vega-Lane Family

Summary:

The epitome of New Aurelien sophistication, the Vega-Lanes embody the city’s sleek blend of art, ambition, and influence. Between Renata Vega’s couture empire and John Lane’s media powerhouse, they’ve shaped the aesthetic and cultural voice of New Aurelien for over a decade. Their world is one of fashion shows, magazine galas, and carefully curated perfection — a dynasty built on image, intellect, and impeccable taste.

Renata Vega – Founder and creative director of Vega Atelier, one of New Aurelien’s premier couture houses. A visionary designer known for architectural silhouettes and luminous fabrics, Renata commands the fashion world with quiet ferocity. With espresso-brown eyes, deep brunette hair always styled in an elegant twist, and a sharp sense of presence, she exudes the kind of confidence that fills a room without ever raising her voice. Her clientele ranges from models to political figures, making her one of the most influential women in the city.

John Lane – CEO of The Aurelien Standard, a glossy lifestyle and culture magazine that sets the tone for New Aurelien’s elite. Polished and articulate, John built his media empire on wit, networking, and an instinct for the cultural moment. He’s tall, silver-haired, and perpetually dressed in tailored suits that mirror his magazine’s sleek aesthetic. Behind his charm lies a strategic mind, one that knows image is power — and few wield it better.

Zara Vega-Lane (19) – Communications and fashion double major at NAU. Stylish, sharp, and effortlessly media-savvy, Zara grew up in the spotlight and learned early how to perform for it. With soft olive skin, glossy dark hair, and a natural model’s poise, she’s a familiar face at her mother’s runway events and her father’s magazine covers.
