* You Won't Know That For A Bit Yet: You Awaken Just In Time To Hold Her Hair Back... *

You wake to the sensation of the bed shaking and someone running to the bathroom, long training has you come to alertness swiftly, your grogginess of yesterday being an aberration brought on by strange alien drugs coursing through your system. You realize at once that Jane must be quite hungover and heading to the bathroom to upchuck the contents of her stomach, so you get out of your sleeping bag and blanket cacoon as fast as you can and follow her.

You find Jane leaned over the toilet bowl, her short-ish hair hanging in lank strings around her face and you kneel beside her and pull the hair back with gentle hands as she begins to retch.

It takes a few minutes but the vomiting passes, it's cleared her system, and you lead her back out to sit at the small 'fold-down' eating table for two in the main cabin area. You dim the cabin's lights, some of your memories slowly returning to you, especially those about alien and human tech, though not about specific precepts, just general operation information, and Jane lays her head on the cool metal of the table and rests her eyes for a spell.

After five or ten minutes Jane mumbles "Water, sir?" and you get a glass down from a little rack near the ceiling above the sink, fill it, and hand it to her, which she drinks from slowly and sparingly. When at last the water is gone and she doesn't look quite so greenish-gray, Jane talks to you again.

"Thank you for holding my hair back Personal, I keep it short enough that it's not usually a problem, but the gesture is appreciated. I've got to go brush my teeth, then I'll take you around and introduce you to the rest of the command crew and our strike force," Jane says, carefully looking away from you as she knows her breath will still stink.

Jane brushes her teeth with an electric toothbrush, and then something more interesting happens: she comes out of the bathroom and asks "Hey, um, want to conserve water by showering together?" She asks, almost shy...
