PRISM BAY AREAS, NEIGHBORHOODS, AND LOCATIONS

OLDTOWN - the oldest neighborhood in town, houses the mansions for several of the oldest and most prominent families of Prism Bay, such as Blackhall (Ravers), Diamond Manor, Wynwick Manor, and others.

TIMBER HEIGHTS - an upper class neighborhood where several wealthy and/or traditional families live, such as the Driggers, Blake, and Pierce families. The famous (or infamous) Marble Avenue is located here, where families such as Wayne, Thirlby, Falkenburg, Vandermeer, Olesky live.

QUARTZ FIELDS - an upper middle class neighborhood, home to the Holland, McRose, Blackson, Overton, Murphy, O’Dell, Barnes, and Vane families, among others.

OCEANIC GROVE - an upper middle class neighborhood, home to the Woodsen, Walker, Miller, Stratton, Swift, Campbell (Maurice), Adams, and Pryce families, among others.

SUNSET HILLS - a cozy middle class neighborhood, it’s where the Boxwood Court cul-de-sac is located. Home to the Bishop (Zack and Paris branches), Moore (Patrick), Tarver, Gibble, Denton, Cole, Westher, O’Hara, Hall, Hammons, and Zuccaro families, among others.

GREENLEAF LANE - another middle class neighborhood, home to the Anderson, Withrow, Quill, Chapman, Johnson, Robinson, Goldberg, Singer, Fallon (Seamus), Banks, McCracken, and Kirby families, among others.

LEARY LANE - working class neighborhood, home to the Rusk, Thornton, Bishop (Ralph branch), Butters, Campbell (Theo branch), and Phillips families, among others.

RIVERSIDE GARDENS - an upper middle class business area. Businesses like the Riverside Academy, the Goforth’s restaurant, Rossi’s, the Wynwick Foundation, Wickworth Holdings, Lakefield Boutique, and the Precious Prism Clinic are located here. It shares the town park, Royal Park, with the Shoreside area.

SHORESIDE - the downtown area, it’s close to the beach on the southern side of the city. Businesses like the Hilltop High School, Diamond Corp, the Witzler Hotel, Golden Safe Bank, Jewell Development Company, The Daily Reflection newspaper, Alfred’s, Creamed Heaven, Studio Bangs, Ultimate Nightclub, Seaside Restaurant, Sashay Studio, and Dream Muffs are located here. The Glasscourt Mall, home of a few stores, like Comic Citadel and Power Zone, is located here. This area also houses the Prism Bay General Hospital and the City Hall. It shares the town park, Royal Park, with the Riverside Gardens area.

WEST BAY - a business area that formed around the western bay of Prism Bay. It mainly comprises big companies and big businesses. Huguet Laboratories, Tower Laboratories, Wayne Incorporated, and Onyx Tech are just a few examples of the businesses located here.

EAST BAY - a business area that formed around the eastern bay of Prism Bay. Home to businesses in the tourism and entertainment fields, such as the Ravers Resort, Mirage Hotel, Amaranthine Luxury Hotel, and the Aquacomb. An amusement park is located here as well.

STONE PLAINS - one of the oldest areas in Prism Bay, on the north side, it’s starting to show signs of age. Home to a variety of working and middle class businesses and residences. The Prism Bay Police Department is located here. Stereo Land, Violet Passions strip club, the closed Thirlby’s department store, Mic Waves, Cole Cars, and the abandoned Krauser Mansion, are located here.

RUSTY HARBOR - an old harbor/port area located near the western bay of Prism Bay. Old businesses and some institutions are located here. A wave of renovation seems about to start in that area. Luigi’s, Moonlight Investigations, the Prism Bay Historical Society, RedTech, Captain’s Cove bar, Metropolis Nightclub, and The Worm Bookery are located here, among other businesses. The city port is in this area.

RIVER VALLEY - an area between the East Bay and the Riverside Gardens, it houses some old businesses and residences from old families. Blake Real Estate, Green Forest Hotel, Jeffers, Penalty Pub, Orrin Automotive, and the Forbidden Temptations strip club are located here.

GLIMMER GLADE - a college town located one hour and a half to the north of Prism Bay, built on the shores of a large lake called Crystal Lake. The other side of the lake houses a park, Crystal Park, where a few private vacation cabins were built. Also located in the town, on the shores of the lake, we've got the prestigious Crystal Lake University.


LOCATIONS

Blackhall - The ancestral manor where the Ravers family lives in town. It's located in the nicest neighborhood of Prism Bay. It's a huge mansion with lots of bedrooms, living rooms, a dining room, a ballroom, a couple of offices, a library, a big kitchen, a pool, tennis and basketball courts, a huge garage, amongst other types of rooms. Has the Ravers Crest on the doors and iron gates.

Diamond Manor- Located in one of the oldest, wealthiest neighborhoods of Prism Bay. Situated on a large plot, the mansion has considerable privacy. The three-story manor has ten bedrooms, three offices, a library, study, parlor, ballroom, large kitchen, and a formal dining room. The grand also features a pool, sauna, tennis court, and a weight room.

Ravers Resorts - a chain of famous and successful touristic resorts owned by the Ravers family. The main unit is located in Prism Bay, managed by Robert Ravers, the owner. It’s a huge hangout spot for people of all ages, and a hit amongst the tourists. Located on the south bay, one of the bays that form Prism Bay.

Diamond Corp- Originally founded as a pesticide company by Jacob Diamond and Rhett Pierce to combat the widespread wasp infestation around present-day Crystal Lake. The prosperous company moved on over the years from focusing strictly on pesticides emerging as a leader in agrochemical and agriculture technology. First called Pierce-Diamond Chemical, the company would transition to the shorter Diamond Chem. Following the **** of Samuel Pierce three decades ago and the elevation of Hannibal Diamond to chief executive, Hannibal altered the name again to Diamond Corp. This name change reflected his plans to expand the company into different fields. Aggressive business practices by Hannibal severely hurt Diamond Corp's reputation. Fifteen years ago, Hannibal's sons, Harvey and Graham, along with Samuel's grandson, Dalton, led a boardroom coup, toppling Hannibal. The new regime greatly expanded into agricultural technology. Current CEO: Dalton Pierce.

Huguet Laboratories- Originally founded by physician Mathis Huguet to formulate known ****, the company has transitioned into a medical device and healthcare industry up-and-comer. Today it sells medical devices, diagnostics, generic medicines, and nutritional products. Has a separate pharmaceutical research branch located in Blackbridge. Current CEO: Cyril Olesky, a descendant of founder Mathis Huguet.

Wynwick Foundation- A prominent charity founded and run by the Wynwick family. Focused primarily on expanding education and protecting the environment. In over a century of existence, the Wynwick Foundation has at times shifted course to meet the needs of people in the region; especially in tough economic times. Recently, the foundation has begun to fund programs for single parents under its current chairperson. Amassing a significant fortune in logging and mining, Sheridan Wynwick left behind a troubling legacy for his offspring. Originally proposed as a forest preservation effort by two of Sheridan's three children, Athena and Archibald, the foundation's purpose greatly expanded in the following generation. The gem of the family, the foundation chair is considered the highest achievement possible. The Wynwicks spent considerable political power and money to ensure their unique voting structure would be grandfathered in under new charity laws. Despite their bad blood, all five major branches of the family from across North America, care deeply about the foundation and its purpose, putting aside their differences to vote for each new chairperson. The recent vote to succeed Myles Wynwick proved shocking as underdog candidate Fiona proved victorious over her distant cousin, Kermit. Current chairperson: Fiona Wynwick.

Wickworth Holdings- An investment and management company that controls and maintains the Wynwick family's property portfolio. Considering that the Wynwicks own property in several cities and towns, it's a financial powerhouse in the region. Current president: Kermit Wynwick.

Wayne Incorporated - The sprawling company currently led by Sophia Wayne, who took over after her husband’s ****. Wayne Incorporated has toes in a number of businesses, and several businesses in Prism Bay are subsidiaries of Wayne Incorporated. The company has never had profits this high, and everyone who questioned Sophia Wayne's capabilities have eaten their words many times over by now.

Onyx Technologies - The cutting edge tech company owned and founded by John Blackson. A subsidiary of Wayne Incorporated, Onyx Tech is a big supplier of tech stores and businesses in the local area.

The Daily Reflection - the oldest and main newspaper of Prism Bay, ran by several well-known and brilliant journalists, editors, and reporters.

Marble Avenue - Located in one of the oldest, wealthiest neighborhoods on Prism Bay. It’s a wide, oak-lined road. The cream of the crop of Prism Bay's oldest families live on Marble, with the second-tier clans living on the blocks on either side. The avenue eventually turns into a dead end with Pollen Circle. A specific clique of girls living on or around the boulevard has existed since the 1950s. They are called Marble Girls.

Riverside Academy - the private high school in Prism Bay, located near a river and a park. Built in an old, castle-like building, it has been the school where many of the city’s prominent citizens have studied for many decades. The grounds are vast, with several facilities for the students to use. Has a sports rivalry with the public school.

Hilltop High School - the public high school in Prism Bay. It’s a fine institution of learning and education, and many stellar citizens of Prism Bay also came out of here. Operates in a recently renovated building. Has a sports rivalry with the private school.

The Spectrum Snoop - not exactly a location, but a web app. Written by a mysterious person, it seems to know everything that’s going on in the lives of students and teachers at both the Riverside Academy and the Hilltop High School. A few students may be determined to uncover who exactly is the mysterious editor.

Prism Bay General Hospital - the city’s large hospital where several doctors work.

Precious Prism Clinic - a private medical practice owned by Monica Ravers and Bridget Tarver, Ob/Gyn doctors. The pediatricians Samantha Denton and Diane Westher, and Autumn Greene, an inseminator, also work here.

Prism Bay Police Department (PBPD) - the police station where several detectives and cops work.
