Old Mystery Gang (The Question Society)

A semi-famous group of teen detectives (Hugely famous if you're into that type of thing) located in Cherry Cove. Founded when its members were in the seventh grade, the gang developed a reputation for foiling multiple schemes over five years. They busted costumed criminals such as Old Man Mosby, Swamp Vixen, Peach Street Puppets, and Kid Casanova. The summer after high school graduation, The Question Society earned international fame and fortune by discovering the lost pirate treasure of Redbeard. Unfortunately, the gang broke up not long after their big moment's anniversary. Two members, Rex and Tish, married and formed The Shrouded Veil. This organization works to train and test the next generations of teen detectives. This is accomplished every three years with the Young Sleuths Challenge and its prize trophy, The Spectacled Sleuth Cap.

Rex Hardaway- 43-years-old: Short blond hair, blue eyes, and dashingly handsome face. The leader of The Question Society, Rex has a take-charge attitude. He believes that no problem is unsolvable. He has loved to build traps since an early age when he tested them on neighbors and family. Enamored with Tish Satin since his early teens, they often snuck off to have sex during their investigations. After discovering Redbeard's long-lost pirate treasure, Rex and Tish married. Seeking to carry on their legacy as mystery solvers, the couple founded The Shrouded Veil to train and test younger generations of teen detectives. Rex often feels frustrated with his daughter's lack of interest in following in her parents' footsteps. Rex hopes this year's Young Sleuths Challenge will light the spark in Mystery.

Tish Hardaway (Satin)- 43-years-old: Long, strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, medium-sized breasts, and a toned ass. Cousin of Andromeda. An enthusiastic athlete, Tish spent much of her early childhood fascinated by Rex Hardaway, who lived several houses down from her family. The best pure athlete of The Question Society, it often fell to Tish to apprehend suspects. After their gang's major success, she married Rex and had their daughter, Mystery. Tish often regrets that she and Rex haven't stayed close with their old friends. She's often conflicted over Rex's pressuring of Misty to become an investigator. However, Tish also wants her daughter to experience the joys she felt, busting up fiendish schemes. If not, Tish has encouraged her husband to consider finding a protégé.

Wilma Hilda- 43-years-old: Long, brown hair (once short), hazel eyes, large breasts, and a bubble butt. A brilliant woman, Wilma was undoubtedly the best detective in The Question Society. As a virgin during the majority of their adventures, she often felt like the fifth wheel whenever her friends paired up and snuck off to have sex. That usually led Wilma to discover and piece most of the clues together. Current life and whereabouts: Unknown.

Andromeda Nebula- 43-years-old: Constantly changing hair color and lengths, green eyes, medium-to-large breasts, and a firm ass. Cousin of Tish. A spacey teen, she got dragged into joining The Question Society by her cousin. Frequently distracted and awed by the colorful costumed men and creatures, Andromeda unknowingly became Rex's bait during their investigations. Her befuddlement worsened whenever she and Ziggy snuck off to get high and fuck. After The Question Society's breakup, Andromeda traveled around the world. Barely remembering to keep in touch, she shows up out of the blue every several years at family holidays. During these events, she's always shocked at how much Mystery has grown as Andromeda doesn't keep track of the passage of time. In her coherent moments, "Aunt Andie" shows concern for Misty. During those times, she secretly contacts the girl to check on her. Current life and whereabouts: Partially unknown even to her.

Ziggy Grasshoff- 43-years-old: Bald head (once long shaggy hair), brown eyes, and slim build. "Monster-magnet Zig" could be the most unlikely detective in history. A sleepy, lackadaisical teen, he became friends by accident with Rex Hardaway during a Saturday detention in seventh grade. Recognizing the map Rex studied, Ziggy found himself dragged to the pond that night by the talkative teen. After a smashing success, Ziggy found himself a founder of The Question Society. Unfortunately, during their investigations, he also found himself the frequent target of the costumed villains. Perpetually freaked out, Ziggy resorted to smoking weed in increasing amounts during his late teens. Had a mystery-partners-with-benefits relationship with Andromeda. Current life and whereabouts: Unknown.

Mystery "Misty" Hardaway- 19-years-old: Long, straight strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, medium-sized breasts, and a tight ass. The daughter of two semi-famous mystery solvers, Mystery has all traits and skills to be as good, if not better, than her parents. She's intelligent, imaginative, sassy, and athletic. However, Mystery hates her name, preferring to be called Misty, while also showing disdain for everything her parents push on her. A freshman in college, Misty is seeking her own path while also dealing with her parents' seemingly obliviousness to her desires. A regular attendee of Young Sleuths Challenge since before she could remember, Misty hopes to finally convince her parents to find a different successor. If not, maybe she'll finally follow through on her threat to run away and live with Aunt Andie. A native of Cherry Cove. Currently a freshman at Vapor Valley University in Sweet Creek.

Sherwin Tinker- 21-years-old: Short brown hair, brown eyes (round, wire-rimmed eyeglasses, and a short stature. Member of the Questioneers, three years ago, Sherwin's team finished dead last. However, Sherwin caught Tish Hardaway's eye by never giving up and even rescuing his team from an underground cell on the plantation's grounds. Rex doesn't see it, but Tish considers Sherwin a potential heir to the Young Sleuths Challenge if Mystery continues to reject that mantle. It doesn't hurt that Sherwin calls himself the number one fan of the old Question Society. He even started a fan club for them while in grade school. Although Tish thinks Sherwin has a crush on Misty, he really has a crush on her. Sherwin is thrilled to be the Hardaways' assistant. Decent friends with Sonnet Sangsom. A native of Foggy Farms. Currently attends Vapor Valley Valley University in Sweet Creek as a junior.

Lolly Matcham- 20-years-old: Long, dark-brown hair, medium-sized breasts, bluish-green eyes, and a toned ass. A tomboy slowly accepting her femininity, Lolly is a natural when it comes to nature. An excellent tracker and horseback rider, she loves to follow animals to capture the perfect photo. Unlike Misty Hardaway, who she hits it off with immediately, Lolly wants to follow her family legacy by running Camp Wee Wicket. Her ultimate dream is to rebuild the Lazy Loop Ranch as a tourist ranch. A native of Ferro Rapids. Currently a sophomore at Frontier A&M University in Thirsty Gulch.

Rhett "Ratbag" Bragg- 21-years-old: Stylish black hair, green eyes, and an overall attractive appearance. Rhett's handsomeness belies his two-faced personality. Caring only about himself, Rhett worms his way into people's trust before betraying them. In most cases, those "friends" have no idea they'd been used. Team captain of the Clue Cultivars, the team that won the last YSC three years ago. Rhett accomplished this seemingly single-handedly as his team members either got injured, lost, or trapped during the final mystery. That he appeared to win the challenge under these circumstances impressed Rex Hardaway but not Tish. A native of Cherry Cove. Currently a junior at Sunny State University in Fountain Beach.

Sonnet Sangsom- 21-years-old: Black bob hairstyle, blue eyes, medium-sized breasts, and a fit ass. A sweet, wholesome young woman, Sonnet believes that most people are good at heart. She enjoys the puzzle-solving aspect of investigations rather than catching criminals. Friendly, she can be a bit oblivious to more selfish behavior. Relatively inexperienced sexually. The brainiest member of the Brainteasers, they finished sixth at the previous YSC. Became decent friends with Sherwin during the competition and at college. A native of Blueview. Currently a junior at Vapor Valley University in Sweet Creek.

Peyton Tarver- 21-years-old. Long, wavy caramel blonde hair, blue eyes, medium-sized breasts, and a toned ass. Has a leggy, model-like figure. A friendly, occasionally uptight young woman who rarely misbehaves. While she likes to tease her younger brother, Sean, she's very protective of him. A successful soccer star in high school, he tore the ligaments in his knee the summer before senior year and was never the same again. Highly competitive and energetic, Eoin turned his focus to his studies and women. A popular friend-with-benefits around campus, he's often attempted to make the bumbling Barney his wingman. It never works. Actively attempting to convince Peyton that their younger siblings should get together. Barney Barrie- 21-years-old. Light-brown hair, brown eyes with wire-rimmed glasses, with a tall, slim body. Native of Honey Hollow. Friendly, earnest, and hard-working, he strives to be taken seriously as a reporter, but his bumbling nature sabotages his efforts. Started at the Daily Flyer as a paperboy while still in grade school. Roland Swift, the paper's owner, barely tolerates him, but his daughter, Hillary, has a fondness for the young man she's watched grow up. A former reporter for The Buzzy Bee. Currently, a college student at Zurbrugg, he's a reporter for the Zurbrugg Gazette while working as a photographer during school breaks at the Flyer. Close friends with Finn Singer since grade school. Housemates with Finn, Eoin, and August. Does freelance photography to pick up extra cash. Accidentally lost his virginity after senior prom with Emily Buttery. A junior majoring in Journalism. Barney participated in the YSC three years ago, coming in second place

Taylor Marie Bishop: 20-years-old, long wavy dark brown hair, icy-blue eyes, medium-sized breasts, toned ass. She's Zack’s older sister and Daniel and Monica’s daughter. Peter Zander - 20-years-old: Short brown hair and green eyes. A smart, friendly guy who used to date Hannah Woodsen in high school and is a close friend of Taylor Bishop. Was on The Speedy Scout at high school, being the chief editor in his senior year. Wants to be either a writer or a Literature teacher. Often tries to give advice to Zack and Gavin, the former seeing him as a mentor figure. Got hooked on books and mysteries by Malcolm Campbell, the younger brother of his mother’s best friend, and can get pretty much obsessed with them. Might be open to a casual relationship while on the camp, but will probably have to do it away from Taylor and Hannah’s watchful eyes. Much like Taylor, wanted to be on the previous competition, but wasn’t eligible.

Kelsey McNamara: Kelsey is 21 years old. Kelsey is bisexual. Kelsey is the daughter of John McNamara and Dinah McNamara. Kelsey is a student at Redwater University and a part-time model. She was hired on due to her ability in the last Shrouded Veil event alongside Kailyn, who she has mutual respect for from their time on the same team. __

Kailyn Jackson: Black, 21 years old, long, straight, deep brown hair, brown eyes. C-Cup Breasts. JJ's older sister lives on campus at her college and usually only comes to town once in a while during the summer. She has an extremely close and loving relationship with her brother, the pair readily admitting to being best friends. She and Rachel White became quick friends in college, Rachel usually pulling her and her other friend Bella away from her intense studies to have some fun. Besides Kenny and Mindy, who she almost considers siblings, Kailyn doesn't know any of JJ's friends. Rachel White: White, 21 years old, long wavy blonde hair, blue eyes. D-Cup Breasts. Brian's older sister moved off to college two years ago but always comes back to town for summers and winter break. Growing up, one of her best friends was Sydney Clark, so in turn, she became very close to her younger brother. Jennifer White - 24-years-old: Long blonde hair and blue eyes, large breasts and a toned, round ass. She's bisexual. A feisty woman who enforces the rules most of the time, but isn't above bending them if the situation calls for it. Has a comfortable, funny personality around people she trusts and considers as friends. Worked as a park ranger for a few years and just started as a cop at the Azure Rocks Police Department, to stay closer to her family. When she worked as a ranger at Silver Lake Park, helped Heather in the woods three years before the story and developed a protective attitude toward the girl. Jessica Stoughton: Jessica is 40 years old. Jessica is straight. Jessica is a teacher at Redwater High School. Jessica Stoughton has red hair, green eyes, medium-sized breasts and a curvy ass. Jessica Stoughton is a confident, flirty and seductive woman who was a social butterfly that got on everyone that she met. Jessica Stoughton is the best friend of Aria Morgan and Jessica Grayson is named after her. Winchester "Winch" Kern- 26-years-old: Mid-length black hair, brown eyes, and a rugged, athletic appearance. A native of Drygully. An expert outdoorsman, Winchester has become a go-to hire for people seeking a guide for the region. A quiet man, he chooses his words carefully but isn't unfriendly. Occasionally does freelance work for Rusty Buckle Lodge and several other lodges and ranches in the county. Wishes to start an expedition company that guides bands of tourists around the area.

Abilene "Abbie" Kern- 24-years-old: Shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes, large breasts, and a firm ass. An expert outdoorswoman, Abilene went the college route before returning to her native Drygully after graduation. Close to her brother, she often is at his side, performing the same jobs. She is entirely in agreement with her brother's dream of starting an expedition company. Abbie would handle the business side of any venture. Graduate of Bear Mountain University.
