So I wanted to ask a couple of questions and see what you guys/girls think and see if I can make any improvement.

1- Chapters length:

I have noticed that like 90% of the story on CHYOA have very small chapters, for some it make sense when there are many choices and sex scene are broken to allow those choices. For others, personally, I don't really get it, you have 2 paragraph for 10 "chapters" and no real choice or even reason to have choices between chapters and it kind of annoy me when it is this way. However, this is mostly a personal preference and maybe some peoples like smaller chapters either to write their own story between chapters or just like the flow of smaller chapters.

So are my chapters too long, would it be better if I tried to limit myself to a certain word count?

I can't promise I'll be able to make 2 paragraph chapters, but I can try and divide them more frequently.

2- Editing:

I use bold to make dialogues and thoughts stand out, again this is a personal preference when I read a story because sometimes I like to quickly pass over anything that is not dialogue and when they stand out it is easier to take the information I need from the non-dialogues portion and focus on the conversations.

So I just want to know if bold is annoying or too aggressive on the eyes due to the sheer amount of dialogues I use in the story. Also, want to know if I use too many dialogues in the first place, I could definitely cut down the exposure I do through dialogue and space the dialogue with a paragraph to do the exposure.

3-Sex scene: 2 things

First is the lack of sex in some parts, I realize that right now there is little in terms of sex partly due to the main character's current position. That is about to change soon but it may take some time and as CHYOA is a smut site it may annoy some peoples to read through many chapters and find little sex and I completely understand that feeling.

And again the pesky personal preference shows its face lol, I personally like more when the sex stick to the main character and of course that means I write it this way too. But it shows right now, as the beginning put the main character alone and can't have sex but it could also impact other parts of the story when things move away from the main character a bit.

Now because I like it better when the main character gets all the love doesn't mean I have to write it this way, I could insert sex scene between other characters in between chapters that focus on advancing the story, this would slow down story progression tho, so do you guys think I should focus on advancing the story or put more sex?

For the second part is choices, I will state it from the start, I will not branch the main story out before it is finished. However, I can spend more time on sex scenes and dividing them to give readers the choice to progress the way they want. That would mean longer and more detailed scenes cut into multiple chapters, but would also slow progression as I would have to spend more time on the sex scene. If I stick to the way I do things right now, things will progress more rapidly but there will be little to **** until I finish the main story and come back to make more elaborated sex scenes. Personally, I don't really care one way or the other so I might as well ask right.

Last note: I'd like to remind readers that I am more than willing to take suggestion on pornstar or game characters that have a heavy amount of media for future characters, you can use the comment or PM me and if any character fit well I'll do it.
