(Subplot) Chelsea Gets Famous

"I'm happy to see my roomie was smart enough to steer clear of that Hogwarts school shit going on down the corridor. That's a magical accident waiting to happen, I'm telling you now" Tina shook her head as she sat down on the bed opposite Chelsea.

"Oh yeah, April tried to talk me into going with her. I reckon she was a little nervous" Chelsea answered as she played with a package on her lap "I was thinking about it, but then this arrived"

She pulled an Ipad from its box and examined it proudly "I can't believe they are just giving me this for free!"

"It looks like you really are one of us now" Tina smiled proudly "We just need to get those clothes off you to complete your glitchification!"

"Oh no, I could never do what you all do. Naked in public, naked on the telly. I think you are all so brave, but I would be way too self conscious" Chelsea plugged the charger into the wall and fired her personalised device up. Within moments it was buzzing. A lot.

"Damn girl, how did you get this popular so quickly?" Tina wondered out loud.

"Oh my goodness! Are all of these messages for me?" Chelsea gasped "I didn't think I'd get any. There are hundreds!"

"Congrats! Anything interesting?.......Hello......Earth to Chelsea?"

The youngest glitches' face had turned a ghostly white before becoming flushed with red "Oh my giddy Aunt!"

"What?" Tina asked, confused by what kind of messages could have caused such a reaction. Chelsea wordlessly handed her the tablet so she could see for herself "Woah, what are you doing in the shower girl? It's all anyone is talking about here"

"I'm just washing myself, honestly! I mean, maybe I take a little longer than I need to. I do enjoy my showers, and I like to make sure I'm extra clean. You know, really get into all the nooks and crannies. I didn't think anyone would be watching!"

"You have a fan club in Brazil" Tina informed her roommate as she skimmed through the messages "And another one in Tokyo. Some rich dude in Germany is proposing to you. Oh, and it looks like a few of your old school friends have decided to get in touch too!"

"Which ones?" Chelsea looked petrified.

"Uh, Matt Thornton, Harry Jacobs, Shane Bradbury..."

"Shane? Oh God, I had the biggest crush on that guy!"

"Well, I'd say he's all yours now if you want him!"

"Tina, this is nuts!" Chelsea looked completely overwhelmed with all of this "I feel like I can never shower again"

"Well if you want to keep rooming with me you damn well better!" Tina shot back "Look, isn't Lucy your idol or something? Because, honestly, you are giving her a run for her money at her own game here. Why not embrace that"

"It's just going to feel so weird next time I get in the shower, knowing how many people are watching." Chelsea seemed to be simultaneously loving and hating her sudden elevation to naked superstar status.

"Just forget they are there and enjoy your shower, whatever you were doing before is definitely working for you" Tina smiled encouragingly "And if it helps, I'd be happy to join you for a shower or two. My numbers could use a boost just lately.."
