(Story) The book pt. 1

You walk into the club room and look around, it's hardly bigger than a closet, there is one table in the middle of the room with two chairs on either end, then there is a small supplies shelf. You see April and Kogane as expected, then you notice Chika and remember that Kogane mentioned she was in the club.

{if April Opinion > 30}"Hey John!" said April excitedly, looking up from her phone, "So you actually decided to join up, huh? Cool now you can help me-"

"He is not going to help you in your stupid game." Kogane cuts April off in an irritable tone. {else}April looks up at you and glares but stays silent. Kogane greets you, "Hey John welcome to our club!", {endif}"In this club we investigate the unexplained!", Kogane tells you exitedly, "We found something interesting a bit ago." Chika nods in agreement.

Kogane then explain to you about a book that she found. It is a strange book written in an unfamiliar code, not just that but every entry is written in a different code. Chika decoded the first part and the book mentioned a hidden compartment in the library. Inside the compartment was-

"-pefume." Kogane finished.

"That's it?" you ask, unimpressed by whoever would create such a complicated scavenger hunt.

"well..." Kogane starts, she blushes and looks at her feet.

"Go on," said April, trying not to laugh, "tell him."

But Kogane didn't respond, just looked at her feet.

"She said that it caused her to well - produce milk", April said, laughing.

"Don't laugh!" said Kogane angrily, looking at April, "It's true-my-, they-," she paused looking back at her feet, "Well, after I lost it it stopped... It's not a coincidence!", she said the last part with confidence, this time looking at you but still just as red from embarrassment.

"Wait-" you say, "you lost it? Where?"

"In morning class on the first day, I think", answers Kogane, "I remember not having it during lunch because I wanted to test it with Chika"

A puzzle piece clicks in your mind as you remember what happened the afternoon on your first day. "Unless Ms. Kana has a secret child I think I know who has the perfume."

You tell them about what you accidently saw when you were in the nursed office.

"It seemed like Ms. Kana was confused and didn't know how to- you know. Why else would she go to the nurse?" you finish.

Chika chimes in, "That's great! Kogane you can get it back so we can test and in the meantime I'll keep trying to decode the book."

The group decides that you and Kogane try and find the perfume after morning class but for now club time is over and you leave the club room.
