"Your father [Alder Morley] wasn't a very good person." Peter's mother [Cynthia Ross] warned him about his estranged aristocrat father who left him his estates in Europe.

Peter never met his father. His mother left him and returned to America where Peter was born. Peter spent his entire life as normally without knowing his father until a letter arrived today informing he left him his aristocratic estates.
