"We'll sit here"

"We'll sit here," I said. Cindy smiled and placed our menus on the table as we joined Mia and Glenn.

"We missed you last night!" Mia said as we sat down next to them.

"I know," I answered. "We just... wanted to sit with some new friends last night."

"Friends, huh?" Mia chided. "I think there was more than just friends stuff going on. Maybe friends with benefits."

I blushed.

"Hey, I don't blame you. Those two European boys were HOT. Scott, you better watch out because something tells me they showed Mandy quite a good time last night."

"I think Scott can handle it," Glenn said. "Plus, I think he had plenty of fun on his own."

I looked over at Scott who grinned a sheepish grin then nodded his head.

"Scott has nothing to worry about," I told them. I wrapped my arm around my husband's bicep and kissed him on the cheek. "No matter who I sleep with, no matter how much I enjoy it, I always look forward to going back to my husband. And he always takes care of me."

"You rock, girl," Mia said.

"You guys seem to be much more interested in all this today," Scott pointed out. Mia and Glenn looked at each other, seemingly having a conversation without saying a word.

"What is it?" Scott asked.

"Nothing," Mia answered, though she was a terrible liar. She gave Glenn another knowing glance before stuffing a watermelon into her mouth.

"Look who it is!" she said, just as we were about to question her more. We turned to see Madeline and Eric.

"Hey, you should join us," I said, motioning to the seats next to me and Scott.

"I think we are good," Madeline replied. We are just grabbing something quick to eat then heading to the beach. "We'll catch up later." I couldn't help but notice her vision linger on Scott before her husband whisked her away.

"OK," Scott said, when Madeline and Eric were clear. "What is going on?"

"Nothing!" Mia insisted. "I promise."

"You're a terrible liar," Scott said.

"She is a terrible liar," Glenn agreed. Mia smacked him on the shoulder.

"I think we need to get going," Mia said. She grabbed her muffin and stood up.

"You invited us to sit down and now you're scurrying off already?" Scott asked.

"We need to get to the beach."

"I guess we're going to the beach," Glenn said with a chuckle. We watched in near disbelief as they left the restaurant.

"What was that all about?" I asked. Scott shrugged.

"Do you think it has something to do with the European men?"

"Maybe."

"Or Tina?" I asked.

"Maybe."

"Ugh, I'm dying to know."

"Don't worry about it," Scott said. He wrapped his arm around me. "She'll crack eventually."

We finished up our breakfast and headed outside toward our room. As we passed by the hot tub, we noticed Ariel and Robert enjoying a soak.

"Hey, guys!" Ariel said with an enthusiastic wave. "You should come in. There's nobody else in with us, we've got it all to ourselves."

"We've got to get going to our couples massage," Scott said.

"Robert gives great massages," Ariel said. "And they don't cost hundreds of dollars."

"If Robert gives me a massage, who would give Scott a massage?" I asked innocently.

"Hmmm," Ariel thought. "I think he'd have to give me a massage."

"That doesn't sound fair," I said.

"I don't know, sounds pretty tempting to me," Scott said with a laugh.
