The mayor left with a huff. "I'll come back every week with the same proposition, Miss Stanton, Miss Briggs. You'll have plenty of time to think about it. I'm sure your opulent surroundings will convince you eventually. Because you're NEVER getting out any other way."
Texas slumped against the wall. "Ugh... I can't believe she thinks we'd take that deal. That's just swapping one prison for another!"
"Th-Thanks Texas... I'd rather be here than under the mayor's ass." April breathed a sigh of relief.
"An' I'd rather be out of this craphole than in." Texas huffed.
"What do we do then...?" April asked.
