You had always had great luck since you were a child. You were hoping that would aid you in getting far in the competition. That's not to say that you weren't skilled, but just luckier than most.

You step off your boat, careful not to fall, and step on the dock.

"Welcome to Total Drama XXIsland Otto Williams, hope you're lucky enogh to not die a painful death here. Just a joke! Heh, heh..." He says, with a dark grin. You quickly step away from him. And look around.
