"Spike, I have never been so disappointed in you in your entire life." Twilight declares softly, and Spike feels like someone has just slammed him in the gut with a sledgehammer.

"You came close to killing Sweetie Belle, she told me at the hospital about your trying to pile drive her into the wall, and that could have broken her neck and at best left her paralyzed and at worst dead. I know she attacked you but instead of controlling your rage as I have trained you to do you let it consume you, and now Rarity, who's generous nature means she is constantly low on funds and often on the verge of loosing the boutique has to pay to replace a large mirror, a dress makers dummy, and repair a wall, none of which comes cheep: not to mention a hospital bill for her sister to recover from a cracked rib. The way you behaved tonight was shameful, and not at all in keeping with your professed love for Rarity, who cares about her sister very much." Spike is feeling pretty low at this point but Twilight has one more verbal kick to the jimmies in store for him.

"Did you know that to call me telepathically gives Rarity a migraine every time she has to do it?" Twilight asks. "Leaving aside the physical damage her head will be throbbing with blinding, gut wrenching, pain, for hours because of your little brawl, which if you had held to your training would never have happened at all." Twilight states with deceptive calm.

Now Spike is crying silently, as Twilight just looks at him again, her purple eyes harder than amethysts. "Well, what do you have to say for yourself?" She finally queries.
