"Sorry I can't uuuuh make that ummm tomorrow." Leah said as she scrambled for an excuse "I have a-- oh yeah a special education meeting during my planning. I have to attend it."

"Hmmmm Well I will remember this Miss Williams." Leah could hear the venom in his voice. He hung up rudely.

"Everything okay?" Jonathan asked.

"Just a stupid work thing. Someone wanted me to help them out during my planning. But I got a meeting." Leah wasn't really lying, right?

Principal Howard would be pissed. But Leah didn't care.
