"Relax. You are safe in here tonight and until you get back to base." Madeline said as she found a suitable place to lay down.

"What...what are you going to do to me?" Jessica asked again.

"Nothing," Madeline continued as she prepared to get some sleep. "I just didn't want those fuckers outside to kill you after they had their way with you. Or would you rather go back outside?"

The woman shook her head so vigorously Madeline thought it might pop off.

"Look," Madeline took a soft tone "You will have to do things you don't want to when you get back to our base. But you may only have to do them with one guy--the leader. Just try your best--or else he will throw you to the wolves."

"Thank you." the poor soul Jessica said as she too sat down and then sprawled out on the cushioned tent floor.

"Don't thank me yet." Madeline said as she turned off a small glow rod that was the only illumination of the tent and they both got to sleep.
