"Perhaps a date instead?"

You say this after a moments thought. She's a very attractive woman, beautiful you'd say. She's single although left with some children from some previous relationship but you really don't know the details. You're aware you could probably manipulate the situation further for your short term benefit... But something about her just makes you want to take things a bit slower. Make it last. Savour it.
Her response is immediate but rather bafflingly. She's caught off guard that's for sure, but not in her previous nervousness and shame. This is more sheer surprise and bewilderment. She's truly shocked. Not negatively, not even positively. She's quite simply shocked. In her head this was never a way this might go.

"I... Uh... Mmm" she manages to splutter out after a few moments of shocked silence pass. With you continuing to look at her with a quizzical expression.

"How about you put your top back on together and maybe I can even get you a glass of water," you say trailing off. Who'd have thought you'd be telling her to put her body away, but it seems only right now.
You're almost instantly regretting it as they go away but you have your mind set on more longer term goals now. As you get her a glass of water, which she takes gladly. Politely thanking you before gulping down large mouthfuls of the cool liquid. She's still rather confused clearly. But atleast seems to be getting some composure back.

"Well, I don't know the details yet but how about I contact you later with what we shall do... That is of course if you're accepting my request?" you finally speak after letting her consume most of the water.

She pauses and takes another, this time much smaller, mouthful of water. "I don't exactly have a choice now do I?"

She's not wrong but it takes a bit of the magic out of everything... "Pretend you do? If the situation was different?" you propose to her.

"Well..." she says after another pause "I guess... Why not?" you're unsure if she's really taken what you've said on board or if she knows she doesn't have a choice. But you decide to take her at face value for now.
After a few moments you have got each others numbers and agree you'll text her the specifics as soon as you decide upon them. She then leaves you office, a little awkwardly you note.
