Chapter 6 by SingingLark SingingLark

So can Liandra convince her parents to allow her to work for Dagor?

"Papa, please..."

"... I wish to learn better what is truly going on in the Kingdom, Papa. But most people behave different when we are around, so... I need to be in a place where I can learn these kind of things regardless of their desire to hide them from me.... and I will be safe, Dagor is one of your closest friends, right?" Liandra gave a dozen arguments, which only increased her father's suspicions.

"Well, you aren't to leave the kingdom" The King finally answered "And this game finishes when Prince Mortimer arrives, understood?" Liandra thanked the king with hugs and kisses, unaware of the effects her perky breasts and lithe body were having on her father.

On her way back to Dagor she paused to look at the garden. The day was a little overcast, so the garden didn't hold its full beauty. There were people chatting and strolling, but she noted for the first time only a few were carefree in their demeanor. Others spoke in hushed tones, either because they were gossiping, or because their topic was somehow more sensitive then others. Or were they plotting? It was a strange way to see the world. Somehow the garden didn't appear as graceful as before.

She came back to Dagor "How do I start?" The princess asked, she felt very excited about the prospect. But rather than give her something interesting, Dagor said: "If this is to work, you will truly need to be useful here, princess. I don't know how much you paid attention before to our international reports, but it will be crucial for you to really understand our neighbours. You have three ours to study those two stack of papers."

How does Liandra take her first day of work?
