"Once again I'm sorry." You mumbled.

Chris hearing this turns into a sad expression. He shakes his head in disappointment and pinches the bridge of his nose. "Ash what did I tell you. You don't have to say sorry." Chris says with concern.

"It's just-" You say trying to come up with an excuse. But Chris interjects, "Don't make excuses. It is not your fault, and you shouldn't be apologizing" He says putting his hand on your shoulder.

You simply nod upon hearing this. "Good, now let's see that famous smile of yours Ash." He says with a smile. Your face becomes red with embarrassment as you give him a playful shove.

"Stop it... I'm not a kid anymore." You say embarrassed of what you just heard. Chris hearing this starts to laugh, "There the ash I knew." He says giving you a smile.

He then motions his head toward your lunch table. "Come on now, our friends are waiting for us." He says as he walks away. You quickly follow behind and head toward your table.
