"No... It was meant for you guys." (US)

"No... It was meant for you guys," you say shyly. It was the truth, it was their idea in the first place. But then again it was a joke, and you took it seriously.

"So... You telling me that you dress that way to grab someone in our friend group's attention," she says smirking. You stutter out your words quickly. "T-that not what I meant!" you say out loud.

Valerie hearing this laughs again, she then looks at your outfit.

"Weird... I wonder why you're wearing such a lovely sundress," she says as she gets closer to you. You don't say anything as your face becomes bright red. Then you see her touching the edge of your dress. "Well, to be quite frank you did catch my attention. You know you didn't have to dress all pretty to get my attention, you already did..." she says looking into your eyes.

Hearing this line made your heart flutter, "W-what are you Chris with his cheesy line?" you say quickly to save face. But then Valerie laughs, "Well darling, if you want me to be Chris I be glad to," she says with a wink. This breaks the tension in the air, causing you to laugh. This makes Valerie laugh along with you.

"Well I'm glad that I got a good chuckle out of you, honestly felt like you needed it," she says smiling. Before you can say anything the bells ring, and you simply smile back at Valerie. "Thank you," you say as you walk out of the classroom.
