I reply, deciding that my best option here is to lie, but knowing deep inside that there is no way that Millie will believe me.

Millie just looks at me for a while, takes another sip of wine, then says:

"Okay, but it would also be okay if you did. I mean, fantasies are just fantasies, right?"

I nod, I don't really know what to say to her, so I just sit there, looking her in the eyes. There is a lot of tension in the air I can feel, and I want to find a way to break the tension, but what could I possibly say?

After a while, Millie looks away, takes another sip of wine, then says:

"Matt, I have seen how you look at my body ever since you got off that airplane."

I don't know what to say, so I just sit there, starting to blush a bit, then Millie continues:

"Matt, don't worry about it, I find it flattering that you find me attractive as a sexual being, but you have to understand that all you can do is watch, nothing else can happen."

I blush even more and stay silent, Millie just sits there for a while, then says:

"It is late, and I want us to go mountain biking tomorrow, so I suggest we call it a night and go to sleep now."

With that, she gets up, and starts clearing the table. I try to help out a bit, but she tells me that it is okay, and that she will take care of the dishes.

I head back to my room, but not feeling like sleeping yet as my mind is wandering I sit on my bed reading my book for a while. I can hear Millie finishing up the dishes, and coming down the hall way. Then I hear my door opening and Millie pokes her head in, she makes eye contact with me, then simply says:

"I am going to take a shower now."

She leaves my door part open, and without saying anything more she goes across the hallway to her room, not closing the door completely.
