The 14 sharons went to Jim's Lab in search of a way to make more of them. When Jim damaged his machine, he didn't see that 2 more were made in it's place.

They each were big enough to fit all 14 Sharons. They split into 2 groups and each took a machine. Each was set to make 1 clone. In a flash, there was 28 Sharons.
