Nemo of Utopia
What Is It That You Say To Her?
"I Have Not Seen The Orphans that I'm looking out for in a while, I need to go with you to check on them."
"I have not seen my orphan friends that I'm looking out for in a while, I need to go with you to check on them. There are five alleys around the city where they usually hang out, I'm pretty sure that if we check all of them we will find them and be able to get them some food that I've 'acquired' today for them to eat." You say automatically, like reciting a well-rehearsed line from a script.
The ranger lady laughs. "I'll bet you 'acquired' them some food. Okay, Ali, let's buy these orphans a happy day: I need to get a better idea of how the city is laid out anyway." She says.
"Follow me then, the first alley we need to check isn't far!" You recite again, and she replies...
"Whoh, whoh, whoh: hold up a minute Ali, where do you live when you're not out on the job mugging people?" The ranger asks.
Suddenly you feel a weight on your back and over your shoulders, puzzled, you slip the item off, and find its a cheap cloth backpack. Inside is a few items that are going to be useful to you, such as a "Cheap Dagger", a "wheel of old goat cheese", "loaf of coarse bread", and a map of the city. There is also, uncountably, a verdigrised bronze key. You unfold the map. There is an O on it in Green marked "Ali's Hovel" and five red circles marked "Orphan's Hangouts" only two of them are at all close to what you assume is your sleeping area. This alley is also marked in green as "Ali's Work-Zone". There are only three other things marked on the map, two of them not particularly useful: every location of a regular city guard outpost is marked with a blue X and there is two more green O's called "Sailamalah's Pawn" and "Mrs. Mustafa's Office", no idea what those mean, you've never heard of these people...
"Hey: is that the quest map, can I see?" The young ranger woman asks.
"I think so, not really sure, this is my first time doing my first quest with anyone." You explain sheepishly.
"First quest, you get more?" She asked, surprised.
"Eventually, it says more get added as I level up." You explain with more confidence.
"Oh, cooooool, that means you are part of the new 'evolving world' patches they started adding three expansions ago. No wonder no one had found the easter egg before me," she pumps her fist in the air and does an attractive little booty wiggle as a victory dance, "that Lucky Clover Pendant was so worth it!"
Before you get distracted by her very shapely jiggling posterior and breasts you turn back to the map, "I'm going to guess that you were about to suggest we plan out the order we check the alleys in for the orphans so the last one is by my apartment and we check off the others in as efficient a pattern as possible to save time?" You ask.
"Yeah! How did you guess?" The young woman asks.

Game Monster
From Creep to Boss
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
