"I'm happy right now but..."

You were happy right now, but you didn't really want to admit to your sister that you already felt sad at the prospect of cross-dressing forever. You decided it would be best to give a mixed message.

"I'm happy right now, but..." you said, hesitating to finish the sentence. Your sister looked at you with one eyebrow raised. "But?" she said, waiting for you to continue.

"I don't know. Don't worry too much about it. I'm just getting excited for today," you said to your sister, trying to cover up your tracks. She looked unfazed and still had a doubtful expression.

She simply shrugged. "Look, just know that whatever is on your mind, you can tell me about it. I won't judge or anything. I'm your sister, for God's sake. Just know that I'm always here to listen," your sister said, not pushing further about your hesitation.

You let out a sigh of relief as it seemed like your sister didn't want to press the issue further. You did feel somewhat bad that you were keeping it to yourself, but you didn't worry too much about it.

Knowing your sister, she understood that you would open up to her when you were ready.

Next thing you knew, you and your sister arrived at the parking lot. "Oh look, we're here already. Come on, Ash," she said, grabbing her bag and turning off the car.

She opened your side and smiled at you. "Good luck out there. See you around, Ash," she said, kissing your cheek. You simply blushed as you got out of the car.

Your heart was pounding as you realized you were now by yourself, out in public. You steadied your breathing, trying to calm yourself down. Right now, there was no one around you.
