Given that the hands stopped moving on her as she heard that said and felt like a bucket of ice water was dumped over her head, one could be forgiven for thinking that time had stopped.

Only for it to resume in the worst possible way.

Uncle Qrow started coughing with a massive look of guilt and betrayal on his face as Dad scrambled NOT to confirm the worst case scenario, "Wait, what did you call her?"

His hands were already pulling away as he said that, leaving Ruby with a curious feeling of loss that she was ALL TOO HAPPY to ignore at the moment to run damage control with the girl from last night. She was coming up from behind Dad and Uncle Qrow and so Ruby did her best to signal to the girl to shut up, Shut Up, SHUT UP!

Coco hesitated for a second, before her mouth spread open in a mischievious grin. "I called her Ruby," Oh, there it goes, goodbye Un-grounded life, I hardly knew ye, "On account of how cute it is when she blushes!" Ooooor not? Is she helping? This is helping, right?

Taiyang's face, which had started to take on a tinge of horror, was flushed with relief as she said that. "Oh thank goodness. I've got a daughter named Ruby, and groping a red-head named the same, even if I know that my little girl would never do something like this, would be WAY too weird for me." Qrow, at this point, had finished clearing up his throat of the whiskey that he'd inhaled and looked ready to kiss the brown-haired girl for proving that no, his Semblance did NOT hate him that much.

Meanwhile, Ruby was currently stuck in a gratefulness blue-screen that the girl hadn't exposed who she really was.

Coco, on the other hand, "Oof, yeah, though how do you know your daughter isn't doing things like this? I've heard some pretty crazy stories about what Beacon-Age girls can get up to once they're out of the nest."

Coco, what are you doing?!

The girl walked over and wrapped an arm around the semi-panicking naked girl, grabbing ahold of a boob as she did so.

"Oh, my Ruby's WAY too shy for something like this. Last I heard, she hadn't even kissed a boy yet, and you should have heard how much she was going crazy trying to figure out how to make new friends once she heard she'd be going to Beacon early." Thankfully, his burgeoning gush session on how proud of his daughter he was was stopped by Qrow very pointedly smacking him on the back of the head.

"Tai, no. I'm proud of her too, but this night is supposed to be about getting you to think about something besides your family for a night."

Meanwhile, the two girls had been having a conversation, of sorts, unbeknownst to the males present.

After she'd slang her arm over Ruby's shoulder, Coco had started whispering to her.

"Aw, he thinks you're so innocent. Little does he know that his little girl has been strutting her stuff for the world to see."

Ruby's face heated with shame a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶r̶o̶u̶s̶a̶l̶ ̶as she listened to the older girl.

"Should I tell him, maybe show him the picture of his little girl baring it all?"

Ruby felt like she could hardly breathe as she gave a bare shake of her head no.

"Are you sure? You sure seemed to enjoy having Daddy Dearest's hands all over you? Maybe he'll offer to let you just stay naked at home from now on, his little groping toy."

The thought sent bolts of panic, fear, a̶r̶o̶u̶s̶a̶l̶, and shame through her as she gave a slightly firmer shake of the head to Coco's suggestion.

"Alright, fair enough, but I'd suggest you meet me over by the bar so we can discuss some things once you've managed to pry yourself away from familial hands." Giving a flick to Ruby's nipple as she stopped squeezing her boob, Coco took her arm off of the naked girl and spoke to the gentlemen who'd just finished their argument.

"Well, I'm off to get myself a drink, but I think that the Dance Show will be on in just a minute and I wanna make sure I've got something good while I watch the new dancer show off."

Waving goodbye, Coco started threading her way through the crowd to the bar in the back.

The men, having had a good feel of her, and frankly still feeling a bit weirded out by her 'nickname' just waved her off and did their best to enjoy their drinks.

Holy Dust, I can't believe that worked. I can't believe that I got groped by Dad and Uncle Qrow. I̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶l̶i̶e̶v̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶D̶a̶d̶'̶s̶ ̶h̶a̶n̶d̶s̶ ̶f̶e̶l̶t̶ ̶S̶O̶ ̶A̶M̶A̶Z̶I̶N̶G̶.̶
