"Been Swimming Deb ?"

Debbi burst into the company reception area, having scampered over the tarmac on the car park in her bare feet as best she could. The cloudburst had still succeeded in soaking her to the skin however ! Nikki the receptionist glanced over at her, as if it was perfectly natural to see her standing there in the skimpy and once more transparent swimsuit. Carol had gradually been letting everyone in the company in on her scheme and had urged them not to show any surprise at what Debbi might, or more to the point might not, be wearing.

"Oh hi Debbi" Nikki acknowledged her. "Been swimming ?" she asked. "Yes" Debbi answered blankly. "Like your swimsuit" Nikki tried to keep a straight face. "Thank you, Carol got it for me" said Debbi. "Well she's got great taste" Nikki responded, with just the faint trace of a giggle in her voice. "Do a twirl." Debbi mindlessly complied. "Very nice. Is it raining" Nikki asked innocently. Debbi confirmed that it was. "Better wait here then, Carol said she wouldn't be long" Nikki advised.

Debbi glanced at the digital clock above the reception desk which read 16:59. It clicked over to 17:00. The lobby soon began to fill with departing employees and further cries of "Oh hi Deb, been swimming ?" Carol would have been proud of the acting ability on display and how everyone managed to suppress laughter until they were outside in the car park, where there was an explosion of comments !

"Did you see that suit ?"

"I could certainly see that she shaves !"

"Don't we all these days darling ?" The banter continued.

Five minutes later, Carol returned with Jeff. "You decided to wait inside ?" Carol asked rhetorically. "It's raining" Debbi explained. "Oh well, it's not too far to walk from the car park to the shops, we need to get you some new gear." "That's right, we want you looking smart for the big presentation tomorrow" Jeff agreed. "Presentation ?" queried Debbi. "No more than you deserve" Jeff patted her on her bare back !
