The 10 Rings

You wake to your alarm blaring. You roll over from your comfortable sleep, and glance at the clock.

"7:30! HOLY SHIT"

You stumble out of your comfortable sleep and rush to your dresser. You grab a sweatshirt and some sweatpants, grab your phone, and head for the door. You open it up, and as you walk out, you fall flat on your face.

"What the fuck..."

You turn around to see a box laying at your doorstep. You can't help but wonder what the fuck this item was that might have broken your nose. You waltz over, hazy from your head injury and pick it up. You open it, and see a pamphlet. Under it, lie 10 ring like objects. You open up the pamphlet:

Greetings Ring-bearer,

I hope this message finds you well. In this box lays the 10 rings of power, now bequeathed to you from your late Uncle. He had elected before his ****, to give them to you. Of course, they are quite a burden, and could change your life forever.

Please read the following for the description of each ring:

-Ring of Time Manipulation - grants you complete control over the space-time continuum, allowing you to(including but not limited to): freeze time, reverse time, fast forward in time, and even go back or forwards in time.

-Ring of Acceptability - this passive ring grants all your actions "normality" to others witnessing them, allowing any observer to deem your actions as normal.

-Ring of the Mind - allows you to manipulate the minds of any individual.

-Ring of Intangibility - allows you to phase through solid matter.

-Ring of Superhuman Ability - grants you superhuman strength, endurance, and durability.

-Ring of Invisibility - allows you to turn invisible.

-Ring of Teleportation - grants you powers of teleportation to anywhere in the world(and possibly off it).

-Ring of Manifestation - allows you to manifest any object at the thought of it.

-Ring of Alteration - allows you to alter the shape, size, body form of any human being.

-Ring of Shapeshifting - allows you to transform into any sentient or non sentient being, as well as inanimate objects.

You rub your eyes, could this all be real? There was no way, but you had to try it out. You continue reading.

You are in shock and awe. Could this really be true? You toss aside the paper and slip on all ten rings. You feel a rush of power flow into you, as your body adapts to this newfound strength. You gasp as something appears around your wrist. A large golden watch now sits on your wrist. You want to be amazed, but instead it occurs to you, the time. You need to get to school. You rush down the stairs, grab a bagel and start running. You pay no attention to your mom as she says "Goodbye", and of course, the rest of your family is already at school or working.
