Magical Girlification [Now Public!]

Saving the world isn't half as hard as becoming a girl!

Author's note: This story is on temporary hiatus. I want to come back to it, but I got distracted with other stories and life stuff.

Seaside Grove was a luxurious city on the isolated (and redundantly named) Seaside Island. It was known for its clean, sparkling beaches and lush forestland, as well as a very tourist-friendly metropolitan area. Generally, only the very wealthy and affluent were able to live on the island thanks to its astronomical housing prices, but Tripp was an exception.

That's because Tripp's best friend, Samantha, was allowed to live on the island at her family's vacation home, and Tripp was invited to live with her and her sisters while they both attended school.

You see, Tripp and Sam had both grown up State-side, and had known each other since preschool. Sam was a tall, athletic extrovert, even in youth - the exact opposite of Tripp - but the two had become best friends by association. Their moms had been best friends, so they were roped into play-date after play-date, until eventually Stockholm Syndrome kicked in and they became inseparable.

When Sam decided to go to Seaside Academy that summer, it had automatically been decided for Tripp as well, and the rest was history. A few connecting flights later, and Tripp found himself standing at the front door of Sam's family's lavish vacation home in Cape Coral, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Seaside Grove.

"W-wow," Tripp says, looking over the huge white stone building that stretched out before him, "somehow it looks even bigger than the last time we were here."

Sam, who was very casual about the opulence of her family's home, shrugs. "I think daddy added a few wings. Oh and the second courtyard got renovated. Don't worry though, I can ask one of the staff to draw you a map so you won't get lost."

"Err, that's okay. I'll manage," Tripp says. And a moment later Samantha was leading him through the huge wooden double-doors of the front entrance. By the time they arrived at the first sitting room, (that's the first of seven, by the way,) Tripp was wondering if he would have been better off staying home and attending online classes.

That's because Sam's three sisters were all there in the sitting room, waiting to pounce.

"Tripp!" they say in unison, diving on him like a group of well-coordinated fighter-pilots.

Tripp was glad he didn't have any siblings, because Sam's sisters were more than enough sibling for the both of them. In order from oldest to youngest, Sam's sisters were Amelia, May, and Holly. Sam was between May and Holly.

"Look at you, you've grown a little, huh? Been hitting the gym? Or just the buffet line?" Amelia teases, pinching Tripp's cheek with one hand and giving him a 'playful' slap on the ass with the other. "Come work out with me sometime. I'll take you from scrawny to jacked in no time!"

May tugs at one of his sleeves with both hands, looking away and blushing. "C-can I get you some tea? Are you really staying here with us for the whole school year? Oh I hope we can be good hosts..."

Holly scrunches up her face and taps a finger to her chin like she was sizing him up. "Hmmm. You'll do, I guess. You're just lucky you're short and we already have a maid uniform in your size. I like breakfast every morning at seven, and nothing with raisins." She smirks and gives him a quick punch in the arm.

Tripp was easily overwhelmed, and Sam's sisters knew it. They loved to tease him. Samantha had to shoo them off like stray cats to finally free him from their clutches.

"Alright, alright, scram, girls! You're gonna scare Tripp away before we even have a chance to settle in!" Sam says, brushing her sisters away. Tripp breathes a sigh of relief as the sisters' grips loosen and finally release. But then Sam adds, "You should torment him after he's put his stuff away. That way he's less likely to run and I can go take a bath or something."

Tripp could tell it was going to be a long year.

Sam leads him further into the house, down a hallway on the south side, and to an unoccupied room at the very end of the corridor. It was small compared to the sitting room, but huge compared to his room back home. He had never been more grateful for space and quiet.

"Sorry it's all pink," Sam says after setting her own bags down in the room next door and coming to join Tripp, "I think mom wanted to go with, like, a seashell theme. Or maybe coral? I don't know but it's your problem now." She smiles and claps her friend on the back. "And sorry about my sisters. You'll just have to deal with them while you're here. But you're used to it by now, right?"

He was not.

But he nods anyway. "Thanks again for letting me stay here with you. I definitely couldn't have afforded the rent on this island by myself, much less tuition. Your family is really doing me a huge favor here."

Sam shrugs. "Don't mention it! What's the point of being filthy rich if you can't even do something nice for your best friend every now and then? Plus daddy thought the idea of 'a man' being here to 'protect us' was a great idea. I think he's a little too old-fashioned to realize that you might be the one needing protection."

Sam smiles and leaves Tripp to unpack his things. He was glad for the chance to unwind after a day of traveling and the brief mobbing by Sam's sisters.

And he was happy to be on the island and with his best friend. Besides, Sam's sisters were hot as hell.
