Ghosts in College

You wake up on the front lawn of Hillsbound university, red and blue lights flashing nearby as a body covered in a white sheet is loaded into the back of an ambulance, the lights mess with your eyes as they flicker on and off, you look away and your eyesight returns to normal, police officers and detectives are all around you but none seem to be paying any attention to the random college student waking up in the active crime scene, you try to get their attention but they ignore you, each one seems to be emanating a blue glow, you reach out and try to get the attention of a female officer by tapping her on the shoulder but as soon as your finger enters the blue glow a bolt of pain shoots through your arm and you retract your hand uinstinctively, the officer turns suddenly one hand on her gun and the other on her shoulder.

The officer looks around confused before relaxing a little still rubbing her shoulder, she seems to look right through you before turning back away from you, before you have the time to figure out what's going on a single fat raindrop falls from the sky and plops itself on the concrete in front of you, you look up at the darkening sky and at the same time the officer turned around again, she stares down at the wet spot on the concrete before yelling to a group of officers,

"We need to get tents over here now" You stand where you are as the group jumps into action to preserve the crime scene, more rain drops begin falling and one lands on your face causing an immediate burning sensation, more drops hit your exposed skin each one hissing and coming with the acidic burning sensation, you freeze for a second before quickly rushing toward the cover of the nearest building.
