First and foremost, I want to preface this story and let you all know that a trigger warning is being displayed here and now. The premise of this story is the following:

In the year 2040, the United States has descended into a dystopian reality known as The Era of Subjugation. Following a complete conservative victory in the 2024 election, a systematic dismantling of women's rights ensued, culminating in their complete eradication. This period is marked by an ultranationalist and patriarchal society where traditional gender roles are rigidly enforced. Women are stripped of fundamental rights such as voting and land ownership, rendering them voiceless and powerless in societal affairs. The cultural landscape is dominated by male authority figures who dictate every aspect of life, from politics to personal relationships. Non-married women face dehumanizing treatment, often objectified and used at the discretion of men without legal or social repercussions. Public spaces reflect this imbalance with stark reminders of male dominance; statues and monuments glorify historical patriarchs while female icons have been erased or repurposed to fit the regime's narrative. Education systems indoctrinate youth with ideologies that celebrate male supremacy and vilify feminist movements as threats to societal harmony. Propaganda campaigns flood media channels with messages reinforcing women's subservience under the guise of preserving family values. This era is characterized by its oppressive atmosphere where fear governs daily interactions, and silence becomes a survival mechanism for women navigating this harsh new world. Despite technological advancements, societal progress regresses as freedoms are sacrificed for control under the government's watchful eye.

There is lore to this setting that will be revealed as the chapters go on. I hope to create content very quickly for this, as I have a great affinity for this.
