Would You Rather

You wake up to the sound of your alarm on the nightstand next to your bed, sigh, hit it, and roll over, tugging your sheets tighter around you. Suddenly your stomach drops and you feel like you're falling. Startled, you tense your body and move into what resembles an upright sitting position, only to see that you are indeed falling through space. You scream, barely noticing that the only things around you are lights flashing by in elongated strings, before being interrupted.

"Shut up!" a disembodied voice bellows, and you find that you do despite yourself. "What a shitty way to treat yourself. I have seen you and your struggles, and would like to present you with a question: would you rather continue as you are, or gain a power beyond that of your mortal realm?"

Gasping and in fear, you manage to say, "I would rather gain the power. But who-"

"Then it is done! Simply ask would you rather and provide two options, then allow their choices to decide their fates."
