President Barlett sat at his desk debating what to do, in front of him he had the bill which would almost guarantee a peace in the middle east and end of nuclear development in Qumar completely. on the face of it this would seem to be a no brainer, sign the deal to secure his legacy and bask in being the president who brought peace to the region, however there was down side this agreement.

As part of this deal with Qumar, Qumar would allow America to have control in that region but in exchange the rights of women in America would be lowered to that of what is effectively property . women would belong to their husbands and would be expected to relieve them whenever they wanted and do whatever they comand . If women weren’t married they would belong to their fathers, if a woman didn’t have a husband or father they have to nominate a temporary replacement to own them, otherwise they would be considered to free use women and any man who wanted them could do what they pleased with them.

This bill had passed through both houses, and the president knew the supreme wouldn't dare over turn the decision due to the threat of Qumar having nuclear weapons was too great . Because of this the president knew he had ****, he sighed deeply and signed the bill, as he did thought of all the women he knew and how their life would change.
