The Weakest Link: Heroines of the Playboy Mansion

Chapter One: Welcome to the Mansion

It was supposed to be a simple charity event.

Nine of the world's most famous heroines had received invitations to the legendary Playboy Mansion. They had been told that they would be helping to reopen the mansion for a television special, with all proceeds going towards charities of their choice.

However, none of them had been told about the game.

Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Storm, She-Hulk and Spider-Woman were gathered in the mansion's enormous living room when their host finally appeared.

"Ladies, welcome to the Playboy Mansion!" announced Charles Blackwood, the mansion's current owner and tonight's games master.

"Now, before we begin, I have a little surprise for you."

A large television screen descended from the ceiling, revealing the words:

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me," Black Widow muttered.

Charles smiled.

"Tonight, you won't be fighting supervillains, saving the world or rescuing people from burning buildings. Instead, you'll be taking on something considerably more challenging."

He paused dramatically.

"Ordinary, everyday jobs!"

Wonder Woman raised an eyebrow.

"Such as?"

"Cleaning, cooking, modelling, gardening, serving customers and perhaps even working behind the mansion's bar. Every task comes with a time limit, and completing it successfully adds money to your charity chain."

Charles gestured towards the television.

"However, refusing a task, quitting halfway through, failing to meet its requirements or running out of time will break the chain. Any money that hasn't been banked will be lost."

"Sounds easy enough," Supergirl remarked.

"Ah, but there's one more thing."

Charles pressed a button on his remote.

A golden light swept across the room.

"While you're inside this magical mansion, your superpowers will be reduced to those of an ordinary human. No flying, super-strength, magic or other extraordinary abilities. You'll have to complete every challenge just like everyone else."

She-Hulk looked down at her hands.

"Well, that's inconvenient."

"Remember, ladies, we're here for charity! Have fun, complete your challenges and try not to break the chain."

Charles turned towards Wonder Woman.

"And since you're our first contestant, Diana, I believe we have the perfect job for you."

The television screen changed.

CHALLENGE ONE: THE MANSION'S NEW SWIMWEAR MODEL.

Wonder Woman stared at the screen.

"Oh, this should be interesting."
