The Voyages of the USS Potemkin

The Potemkin was a proud ship with a proud name: she and her crew considered themselves the equal to any other ship in Star-fleet, including the legendary Enterprise itself. So the four young officers coming aboard considered themselves very fortunate indeed to find themselves posted to the USS Potemkin:

Ensign Deborah Larkins was fresh out of the academy and looked like she was fresh off the farm as well. She was a mathematical genius from the sparsely populated farm world of New Iowa, who had left her home planet for the first time at the age of 14 to go to Star-fleet Academy. Now, at 18, her first posting is to the USS Potemkin. Deborah is 5'6", fair skinned with shoulder length red hair, a light scattering of freckles and a very femininely curved body. She is as innocent as she appears.

Lt. Maria Fuentes is a 26 year old physician who just completed her residency. She was born and raised in the Latin American Region of Old Earth. She is 5'2", dark hair and features (as befitting her Hispanic heritage) and also very curvaceous. She is very no-nonsense on the exterior, but has a heart of gold.

Lt. J.G. Tom Rathers is a 24 year old scientist whose specialty is theoretical physics. Tom is tall (6'2"), lean, dark blonde hair, blue eyes, and very handsome and charming in a shy, farm boy sort of way. At 24, Tom is still a virgin, having missed many a signal from colleagues who would have been more than happy to cure him of that 'affliction.' Tom is very confident in his field of expertise, but can be tongue-tied when discussing 'non-shop' matters.

Ensign Rob Daniels is 5'6", and looks like he measures that across the shoulders. Rob is from New Austria, a sparsely populated planet with 20% more gravity than Earth normal. The colonists from that planet all tend to look like Rob: squat body builders. Their reflexes also tend to be faster in Earth normal gravity situations when compared to other humans. Rob is one of the few natives of his planet who has entered Star-fleet. Rob, like the New Austrians in Star-fleet before him, gravitated toward Security. Rob comes off as gruff, but those who get to know him find him kind-hearted and intensely loyal to friends.
