The College Adventures of Adeline Roux

I approach the organization fair. I stop directly in front of a booth with a big sign Epsilon Nu: Only for the Most Daring. I smile as I see a tall girl with long black hair and blue eyes looking deadpan as I say, "Hi, I'm here to join Epislon Nu."

The girl scoffs. "No way you last one second, try the knitting club or maybe arts and craft."

I roll my eyes. "No, I want to join Epislon Nu."

"You understand once you start you can't back out until the rush is over, right? And the rush lasts 3 months," the girl says.

I nod. "Yup. I'm ready for it," I say.

"Very well," the girl pulls out a sheet of paper. "Fill this out. Understand you're legally consenting to everything that you'll go through these next three months. Backing out is not an option. Failure to follow through on challenges will result in an automatic disqualification for any future rushing for Epsilon Nu. You're not entitled to any privacy or modesty."

I nod. "Got it."

I hand the form back to her. "I'm Zoe, vice president of Epsilon Nu. I'm second in command to the Queen of EN." The girl points to a blonde woman with blue eyes. "That's Jessica Monroe. The President of EN. Now get out of here. And don't even think about crying for mercy."

I nod as I head back to my dorm excited for my new beginning.
