Snowed in

I’m trying to read and understand the rules but this may be mostly a one path story. The cars buzzed with excitement as it turned off the main road onto a decidedly more worn down path. The sound of the crunch under the tires was audible as the cavalcade of college students entered the old neighborhood.

Leading the queue was Alex. He drove his mother’s old Honda truck. He was 22 and just about to begin his final semester of college. He was happy to be back in a place he hadn’t seen since he was young. A remote cabin with only a few others dotted around the neighborhood.

This time however, was different. Not only had he not seen the place in almost a decade, this time he had some friends and acquaintances among him.

The two cars following him carried two couples each, as he led them to the left side of the house, parking on the dirt where grass would grow in the spring.

There was an audible sigh of relief when everyone got out of their vehicles. Two weeks away from it all in a warm cozy cabin with bedrooms for each couple, two downstairs and two upstairs. The door led into a living room area furnished with comfortable if old looking furniture, and connected directly to an open concept kitchen area.

There was a hall to the right of the kitchen that led to the two downstairs bedrooms, a bathroom, and a few small closets. A deck also sat off the back of the kitchen, but there was not much worry or hope of that being used in this weather.

The upstairs area of the home was smaller, with the staircase leading directly into the main upstairs bedroom. To the far right corner was another bathroom, and to the immediate right was the smallest bedroom. It had been Alex’s favorite when he was a child. Now on a trip with four couples, it felt almost humorous that he found himself stuck in the single room once again.

As everyone filtered in one by one, Alex took a look at the friends and acquaintances walking in through the door, already playfully arguing about bedroom assignments and gathering firewood.

His friends didn’t know it, but as he studied them closely as they entered, a plan had long formed in his head. He was going to bed all four of these girls in the next two weeks, and hopefully find a regular fuckbuddy among them.

It would take all his effort and charm, but he knew deep down he wasn’t going to stop until he got what he wanted. Standing up a few steps on the staircase Alex took a look at the women he would be chasing, and the men he had to outsmart to do so.
